About Planned Gifts

Planned Gifts was founded by Nomahlubi Hewu in May 2020, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Hlubi, more affectionally known is a Property Valuer (UCT) by profession and a true entrepreneur at heart. She is also the co-founder of ASANA Beauty, a dreadlocks and natural hair salon.

"One of my goals as an entrepreneur is to build thriving businesses that will be a solution to the rising youth unemployment in South Africa. I aim  to equip young people with the necessary skills and experience to start and run their own businesses."

Planned Gifts is a luxury gift store based in Woodstock, Cape Town. We specialise in roses, balloons and gift boxes. We currently provide a full delivery service in Cape Town. Our target market is young professionals with a taste for affordable luxury items. We strongly believe in supporting local businesses and more especially those founded by other women. This is one of the key drivers to a growing and inclusive economy. We only sell locally made items by other small business or startups for our gift boxes.
